Hayley Sophia Coghlan is a practicing artist, art therapist and yoga teacher based on Darug land in Western Sydney.
For Hayley, Western Sydney is home and where she has done much of her learning and growing in the healing arts. Her multidisciplinary approach to art therapy is holistic, nature-based, and person-centred whilst informed by neuroscience.
Hayley has worked in diverse spaces including art galleries, schools, gardens, hospitals, libraries, and community centres. For the past four
years Hayley has been volunteering at Pari art gallery in Parramatta where she supports local and emerging artists exhibit and share ideas.
In Hayley’s personal time she is an avid gardener and loves walking her two dogs Teddy and Jake. Through Hayleys rich experience in the arts, facilitating art therapy for groups and individuals, and making her own art she has experienced and witnessed art making as a powerful process for learning, self-discovery, and wellbeing for all ages.
