Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address client needs.
  • Provide therapy to children and adults with various speech and language impairments.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to client care.
  • Educate clients and their families on communication strategies and techniques to support progress outside of therapy sessions.

Qualifications:

Occupational Therapist

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive capabilities.
  • Collaborate with clients to establish personalized treatment goals and plans.
  • Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to improve clients' functional abilities.
  • Provide adaptive equipment and recommend environmental modifications to support independence.
  • Educate clients, families, and caregivers on techniques to enhance daily living skills.
  • Document progress, maintain records, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development activities
  • Travel to community sessions in childcare, schools and client homes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current APHRA registration in Australia

Behaviour Therapist

Locations: Parramatta, Regents Park

Employment options: Full-Time, Part-Time, Contractor

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments to analyze and understand clients' behaviors.
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment findings and client goals.
  • Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions to teach and reinforce positive behaviors and skills.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions.
  • Monitor and track client progress through data collection and analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of sessions, progress notes, and behavioral data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Special Education, or Nursing, or other related fields.
  • Certification with NDIS as Registered Behaviour Practitioner
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or behavioral challenges.
  • Knowledge of behavior analysis principles and behavior modification techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
