Behaviour Therapist

Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments to analyze and understand clients' behaviors.
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment findings and client goals.
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions to teach and reinforce positive behaviors and skills.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions.
- Monitor and track client progress through data collection and analysis.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of sessions, progress notes, and behavioral data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Special Education, or Nursing, or other related fields.
- Certification with NDIS as Registered Behaviour Practitioner
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or behavioral challenges.
- Knowledge of behavior analysis principles and behavior modification techniques.
