Therapy & Behaviour Support for Children and Families in Care
At Steps2Life, we partner with the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) to provide trauma-informed, evidence-based allied health services for children and families.
Our goal is to help every child feel safe, supported, and understood — building skills that strengthen communication, emotional regulation, and daily living.
We understand that children in care or experiencing complex family circumstances need consistent, empathetic support. Our multidisciplinary team works collaboratively with caseworkers, carers, and schools to provide practical, meaningful outcomes.
Who We Support
We work with:
- Children and young people with developmental, behavioural, or emotional needs
- Families and carers supporting children affected by trauma, neglect, or attachment disruption
- Young people in out-of-home care who require therapy and behaviour support to thrive in stable environments
Our services are flexible and can be delivered in clinics, homes, schools, or community settings — with a focus on comfort, trust, and consistency.
