Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is an evidence-based approach focused on improving quality of life for people with disability and their support networks.
Rather than “fixing” behaviour, PBS seeks to understand why behaviours occur and address underlying needs. Using a person-centred approach, strategies are developed to support communication, emotional regulation, and participation in everyday environments.
